First Lady Francine Carter

Sister Carter was born July 27, 1961 in Fort Riley, Kansas on the United States Army Post.  Her father, a retired U. S. Army Veteran, is Rev. Audrey Toombs of Junction City, Kansas, who hails from Arkansas. Her mother Lillian is a native of Paris, France who still very graciously carries her French accent. Francine has an older sister, Francoise who lives in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  She also has a younger brother, Craig who lives in Greenville, North Carolina.  She is a very family oriented person who enjoys spending time with her children and granchildren.

Francine is a graduate of Junction City High School class of 1979.  She also attended Emporia State University where she was a Kappa Sweetheart and enjoyed being on the cheering squad.  She has worked for Wal-Mart for the past 30 years and currently is the Director of Personnel for one of the stores.

Francine is a fun loving person who enjoys a variety of things.  She likes going to Broadway shows and the ballet as well as fashion shows.  She also enjoys nature and the outdoors.  Camping is one of her favorite past times.  Francine collects porcelain dolls as a hobby.

Above all,  Sister Carter really loves the LORD and cherishes her personal relationship with Jesus Christ.  She enjoys being a part of the music ministry of the church and takes a lot of pride in singing and directing for the choir.  Unbeknown to most, Sister Carter has a passion for single mothers and sees a need of compassion for them.  She also would like to give guidance and support to them as they are finding their way.
